What does a successful Technical Project Manager do at Fiserv?

What you will do:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading moderately complex projects and/or components/phases of larger, more complex projects. This role will be accountable for delivering medium to large projects on time, within budget, and scope from initiation to closure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Utilizes Fundamental Project Management Disciplines: Schedule, Scope, Change, Financial, Risk/Issue Management

• Facilitates/leads project communications to stakeholders, clients, the broader project team and leadership

• Interfaces/coordinates with external clients, committed to balancing their needs with the capabilities of the team, while keeping all aligned

• Interfaces/coordinates with internal teams on cross functional initiatives

• Effectively manages resources/effort that are distributed globally

• Accepts responsibility to drive a successful outcome for our teams and clients

• Proactively contributes to process refinement, program growth, and improved outcomes for our clients

• Manages across a blend between Agile/Waterfall Methodologies

What you will need to have:

• 4-6 years of progressive project management experience within SDLC of medium to large scale projects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Atlassian Suite, Clarity, and other common Project Management toolsets.

• Demonstrated success in delivering projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Experienced in building and maintaining successful partnerships with External Clients.

• Skilled in managing change and quickly adapting to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities; ability to identify risks and provide alternatives and contingency plans.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• PMP Certification or other formal Project Management Education

• Practices a continuous improvement mindset

• Experience in digital commerce/payments
