Position Summary
- Maintaining and troubleshooting a range of user problems including PC hardware/software and LAN
- Diagnosing problem source through discussions with users and coordinating with internal organization support and operations groups and/or with vendors to resolve problems
- Acquiring, installing, and upgrading PC components and software and planning for/responding to service outages and other problems
- Training users on use of new technology and software
Responsibilities
- Help Desk logging, tracking, and ticket resolution
- Laptop/Desktop repair and replacement
- Software application installs and support
- Active directory administration
- Virtual Desktop Support
- Hardware configuration
- Set-up and maintain documentation
- Share in off-hour support rotation
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) skills
- Continues building knowledge of organization and processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle competing priorities
- Exhibit the ability to interact professionally with others at multiple levels of leadership and from a variety of departments
