The UCC team responsibilities:
- Collaboration environments such as Zoom, Miro, Slack, Trello, MS Teams etc. (windows and Mac) across the enterprise and on their usage within:
- Conference rooms
- BYOD Collaboration apps
- Desktop / virtual machines
- Pexip ERM and associated various in room Cisco conferencing hardware
- Video Streaming
- 500+ conference rooms, globally dispersed
- Automation for above tools
- Bots, reporting, analytics, user onboarding, etc
Scope and impact:
- Responsible for the operational support and administration of the Unified Communication and Collaboration production environment.
- Responsibilities include onsite operational room support, event support, L3 application support and administration to multiple SaaS tools including MS Teams, Zoom, Trello, Slack, and Miro. In addition, providing onsite and remote support for internal townhall events, and ensuring alignment of all stakeholder interests with accountability for delivering against service level agreements.
- Regularly performing in-depth incident investigation and resolution to include identifying bugs, test, reproduce, report, and working with the others to assist with a fix and test/verify fix versions. Good, clear communication to all stakeholders is required.
- Owning daily administration tasks including, upkeep of project task status, SOP creation/upkeep, meeting note taking, customer email assortment and reply, team SharePoint organization and upkeep and management of mailboxes, team and personal is also required.
General responsibilities for the role would include:
- To provide client Audio Visual onsite meeting room support services, to include system operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic communication systems including but not limited to video conferencing, meeting room support, Event support and control systems.
- Responsible for the safe and correct diagnosis of faults, removal, 1st line repair, test, and operation of all aspects of audio visual, video conference, display and presentation technologies.
- Correct operation of meeting room AV systems in the most efficient and effective manner to ensure minimum down time and maximum performance.
- To ensure a prompt, courteous and appropriate response to all customer requests for assistance, support, short timeframe requests and room administration, working to defined service level agreements and within contractual timeframes / frameworks working directly alongside other front of house services.
- Be responsible for the general tidiness, cable management, safety and order of the service area and meeting rooms - maintaining the highest in room standards at all times.
- Accurately and quickly diagnose and remedy faults and problems with both AV, VC, AC and TP systems.
- Ensure that all systems are fully functional, and that equipment and system down time are kept to a minimum by providing troubleshooting and handover to other identified personnel or departments.
- Support for high profile meetings.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Unified Communication and Collaboration
- Owning and driving all technical solutions related to the afore mentioned areas
- Continuous improvement of production environment
- Implementing Software/firmware updates
- Ensuring highest reliability and availability of services
- Ensuring tools are maintained in full compliance with the IT User Policy
- Minimum 3 years break/fix and/or system integration experience
- Engineer solutions to enable cross platform context switching for seamless colleague experience
- Collaborate with Information security to implement security architectures that protect data beyond the confine of company networks/boundaries
- Regularly meet with internal partners and gather feedback / implement voice of customer updates to our tools
- Be able to work on own initiative and accept accountability
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure is crucial
- Able to firefight and triage day to day challenges that occur
- Strong organizational skills
- Have the ability to ‘lead by example’
- Manage and work to resolve escalated incidents
- Reduce and remove technical debt of all legacy environments (as needed)
- AVIXA CTS, and continuing industry training is a plus
- ITIL certification is a plus
- Slack Certified Admin is a plus
- Teams Certified Admin is a plus
- Key technical skills which applicants should have a strong demonstrable background in:
- Understanding of Active Directory (what an AD group is, Static vs Dynamic, etc)
- Knowledge of how firewalls, proxies and similar InfoSec & Network topologies play a role in our environment
- Understanding of OKTA and SAML responses, along with SSO
- Required to have Slack, Zoom and MS Teams expertise.
- Demonstrable course completion for Zoom Learning is preferred
- Experience with Zoom Phone and/or SaaS phone environments
- MS Teams Admin certification a plus
- Experience using APIs and creating bots that generate value for technical and non-technical end users, including block kit.
- Identify bugs, test, reproduce, report, and work with the engineers on other teams to assist with a fix and test/verify fix versions
- Implementation and back-end configuration for conference room and A/V technology
- Knowledge workflows for client-side provisioning processes – network requests, firewall requests, AD requests, etc.
- Experience with ServiceNow a plus
- General knowledge regarding DNS, active directory, SCIM provisioning, authentication protocols, SAML response, etc.
- Understanding of SIP, VoIP, MPLS, AVoIP, and other similar network technology protocols
- Understanding of SSO (OKTA) and VPN split tunneling
- Experience with DevOps, reliability engineering, and platform monitoring
Work week and hours:
35 hours - Mon – Fri - Onsite. Late shift is a possible requirement at times, must be flexible to work additional hours (including weekends) as required to meet business need. Possible in-frequent requirement to travel.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as required by the immediate manager/supervisor.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $66,200.00 to $95,900.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
