Med/Heavy Diesel/Fire Truck Mechanic – 1st and 2nd* Shift – Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Area*
Vector Fleet Management, LLC is an American based, privately held company that has been in the fleet maintenance business for over 30 years. Vector Fleet provides onsite, customized fleet maintenance solutions for clients in numerous states across the U.S. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, we manage multiple satellite operations at various contract sites across the country. We are currently accepting applications for qualified Medium/Heavy Diesel and Emergency Vehicle Fire Truck Technicians (EVT) to support our customer’s fleet located in the Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County, FL. Area. First and Second Shift Openings.
Qualifications/Requirements

• EVT Certification a huge plus – or willingness to achieve certification after hire
• 3-5 years’ experience working on Fire trucks and/or ambulances
• Must have the ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel engines and emergency apparatus
• Technicians must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use
• ASE or OEM Certifications highly desirable
• Trade School Certificates a plus
• Willingness and ability to advance technical training and certification in emergency vehicle repair
• Must have acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check.
