Global Partners, LP is hiring for a Territory Manager. The Territory Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is accountable for the leadership and management oversight of the day-to-day operations of their designated sites. The Territory Manager is directly responsible for building teams and supporting set strategies to achieve the short and long-term performance goals including revenue, loyalty programs, operational KPIs, profitability/margin targets, and employee, guest satisfaction. The Territory Manager is accountable for prioritizing the development and training of the General Managers in their territory, ensuring a hospitable work environment, a high level of guest service, facilities appearance & upkeep, as well as management and environmental compliance. The Territory Manager models the way acting in accordance our guiding principles, policies, and procedures.

“Gauges” of Accountability/Responsibility –

  • Works with the Regional Manager and colleagues to establish, communicate, and execute the vision, mission, and strategic direction of the organization’s retail division.
  • Works with the Regional Manager and other Territory Managers to develop clear measurable goals and objectives to support the business
  • Collaboratively sets and leads the execution of standards operating procedures pertaining to the physical stores and in-store retail ops team assigning accountability and fostering ownership.
  • Monitors and drives employee engagement in their territory, supporting the strategies and tactics to address opportunities and issues
  • Follows set leader/ manager protocol by executing regular mechanisms (store visits, 1:1s, Let’s talk sessions, etc.) to actively listen to employees, to be visible, and to support a culture of positive employee engagement and trust.
  • Supports the development of a high-standards and continuous improvement retail operations culture.
  • Delivers consistently great consumer experience in stores in accordance with the defined ATF hospitality and service standard operating procedures
  • Works with cross functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and integration of their territory and the region into the retail division and greater Global organization as a whole
  • Works with the leadership team to ensure that our stores are operating in a Best of Class manner delivering on all SOP’s and meeting or exceeding all established performance metrics
  • Monitor and actively manage the territory’s workload and resources to ensure that agreed deliverables are met on time and accurately
  • Works with their team to understand set priorities and growth targets & plans for the region, territory and individual sites
  • Collaborates with territory counterparts on delivering the overall strategy and goals, standardizing determined best practices
  • Monitors all store audits, internally and 3rd party in their territory for a timely completion and positive outcome taking corrective action when and where necessary
  • Review all territory reporting in a timely manner to make certain that each store is preforming all internal process and procedures accurately

Qualifications -

  • Progressive experience managing multi-unit retail, or service organizations (4+ years)
  • Management experience in the food service or restaurant industry (3+ years)
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to apply sound business principles and practices to management and change management processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
  • Ability to travel weekly
  • Ability for overnight travel as needed
  • Must have validate driver’s license

Physical Requirements -

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, squatting, reaching, twisting
  • Freguent lifting of one to five pounds and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
