Job description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes preparing the theatre for upcoming events: lobbies and stage set up / after performance breakdown of lobbies, stage and clean up. Assisting in crowd and traffic control. Organizing and participating in the general cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs throughout the entire building, painting, patching, etc. Maintaining adjacent walks and grounds including offices and restrooms. Replenishing supplies, emptying of wastebaskets. Work in a detailed oriented manner, be resourceful and flexible, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Provides assistance to staff as necessary and any other miscellaneous tasks given.

Lift / carry loads (up to 50lbs.) and stand for extended periods of time.

Will receive orders and report to the Theater Director and Assistant Theater Director.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be responsible, reliable, a self-starter, have a good attitude, and be a team player.

This person must be available for night and weekend shifts as well as daytime shifts (must be flexible). This is a job requirement.

The rate will start at $15.48/hr and is 40hrs/week.

This is a temporary position approx. 8-12 months.
