Your Job as an Outpatient Therapist

The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for diagnosing and treating mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, affective, or behavioral, applying psychotherapeutic theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed mental and chemical addiction disorders. Successful candidate will be able to work about 20 hours per week.

Essential Functions as a Therapist:

• Provide psychotherapy services to clients, as scheduled, and document conducted individual, group or family therapy sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan of the client.
• Develop and track attainment of IOP or PHP goals and objectives.
• Lead psycho-educational, family therapy and process groups.
• Provide initial treatment planning for clients, based on assessment and coordinates any additional services needed and revises as necessary.
• Perform clinical assessment of individuals referred to the program.
• Coordinate inpatient referrals with appropriate hospital staff and assess patients on inpatient units for referral to the IOP/PHP as requested by the treatment team.
• May perform case management, discharge or after care planning as needed.

Schedule:

We have daily shifts that allow our employees to have stable schedules and enjoy quality time away from the facility. Shift hours are Monday - Friday with varying hours based on the needs of the facility, allowing you to enjoy a great work/life balance. Daily schedule to be discussed.

Your Skills and Qualifications as a Therapist:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field required.
• One of more years' experience working with comparable patient population required.

Licenses/Certification:

• LCSW or LPC licensing preferred.
