Job description
Polar Power Inc is seeking full time Stainless Steel Tig Welders who can fabricate precision metal assemblies and metal cabinets/enclosures for our Dc power systems.
Work schedule: 6am to 2:30pm
Essential Tasks and required skills:
- Layout and fitting abilities
- Tig various aluminums alloys
- Independently set up and maintain a clean, efficient work/ assembly area
- Work independently from blueprints and engineering drawings to assemble parts with close tolerances.
- Process basic math skills involved with sheet metal work.
- Communicate problems detected during welding and report them to supervisor.
- Safety awareness for electrical components, heavy machinery, and warehouse procedures
- Able to lift items up to 50 lbs. infrequently and ability to work standing for prolonged periods
- Minimum of 3 years of welding experience
Compensation will be based on experience . We also pay our welding staff $80 a month for maintaining their personal protective equipment (helmet, gloves, shirts, etc.)

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
