Bazar Enterprises is seeking its first TikTok Content Marketer to help us grow the online presence of our direct-to-consumer retail marketplace! Your primary responsibility will be to grow the social media community, app installations, and gross merchandise volume for our flagship marketplace. Our social media, which we are trying to improve, can be found @bazar.marketplace. We are looking for a social media content marketer with a proven history of driving views, engagement, and ideally sales. Experience negotiating brand deals and affiliate marketing deals in exchange for content (efficiently) are also skills we are seeking to hire for.

The ideal candidate is 25-35 year old urban professional with an interest in fashion, skincare, pets, the environment, and wellness. The candidate should be a highly organized, tech-savvy self-starter who will strategize new marketing campaigns and contribute to growing App-Installs and Gross Merchandise Volume. You will work directly with the founder to manage different projects and provide support for advertising campaigns. We are seeking a result-driven marketer that can reach and connect to an audience through social media and brand affiliations. Please recognize that we are a pre-revenue, bootstrapped start-up and are looking for individuals who want to create content, and have the capability, the grit/passion/willingness, or have a proven track record of growing a user-base and sales from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and coordinate marketing campaigns with various team members
- Create and develop relevant social media content on TikTok and Instagram. With the intention of driving impressions, app-installs, sales, and virality
- Helping curate the merchandise selection in the application depending on targeted audiences
- Develop relationships with relevant influencers
- Grow App Install and Gross Merchandise Volume using cost-effective strategies
- Report marketing activity and product improvement insights
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1,000 TikTok followers or 10,000 likes
- Relevant work experience in marketing field or experience producing short-form content
- Experience bringing mobile applications to market or e-commerce brands to market is a big plus
- Experience working with Shopify brands or building a Shopify brand yourself with a proven ability to generate sales
Compensation
- $15 an hour, bonuses and raises will be awarded for large impacts in viewership, revenue, or app installs
- Subject to skill, experience, and ability to contribute to the growth of the brand
