As a Barclays Trade Services Project Manager / Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing requirements analysis and change delivery of multiple programs within the Post Trade Technology organization. Within this role, you will also be working closely with business users, senior managers on the team, as well as with other Barclays teams, to clarify requirements and drive delivery through the organization.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?

  • Engaging with markets users as well the development and QA teams to deliver change on time and with high quality
  • Developing and documenting fit-for-purpose plans, understanding, and incorporating business prioritization and resource constraints
  • Understanding and documenting the requirements for the respective projects/programs
  • Gaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge of markets applications functionality and front to back flows
  • Managing various stakeholders across business and technology
  • Being pro-active in articulating bottlenecks, conflicting prioritization, and known/unknown gaps
  • Working closely with software development teams to ensure user requirements are clearly understood and developed as specified in the documentation
  • Conducting comprehensive functional testing during the development process and working closely with the relevant users to complete user acceptance testing (UAT)

What we’re looking for:

  • Prior project management and business analysis experience working in investment banking technology
  • Good understanding of financial markets, related to various products and Trade Life Cycle processes
  • Solid understanding of technology infrastructure and operating environment of large, global technology organization
  • Able to produce clear documentation and diagrams, knowledge or Portfolio constructs and ability to effectively tell a story

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Knowledge of CIB (Corporate & Investment Bank) Products and Systems
  • Experience working in horizontal / cross-functional teams
  • Technology development background with hands-on data analysis skills
  • Familiarity with project management and presentation tools
