WHAT YOU’LL DO

We love talking about Seakeeper Ride and how our gravity-defying technology works! As our Training Coordinator, you will work closely with our Application Engineering and Sales & Support teams to educate our Americas and EMEA dealership network of Seakeeper Technicians to properly install, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Seakeeper Ride products. You’ll make an immediate impact on our training efforts by:

• Being responsible for teaching Seakeeper Ride technology to dealership technicians
• Acting as the Subject Matter Expert for Seakeeper Ride technical training

• Working with the Applications Engineering Manager and Technical Writer to create eLearning and hands-on curriculum for Seakeeper Ride University
• Partnering with Factory Technical Representatives in developing meaningful workshop exercises based on concerns in the field
• Working with the Sales & Support team to coordinate training schedules to ensure the most efficient use of resources
• Maintaining records of training activities in Seakeeper Ride University and NetSuite regarding participant progress, and program effectiveness
• Reviewing warranty and customer support data to evaluate curriculum and dealer knowledge

• Evaluating program deficiencies through dealer feedback and improving curriculum to improve graduate knowledge and quality
• Assisting in field review when needed of student workmanship to evaluate curriculum for further improvement
• Ensuring that all safety regulations and OSHA requirements are met and adhered to
• Reporting unsatisfactory conditions immediately and/or taking immediate action to resolve them

MUST-HAVES

• High School Diploma or Technical Institute Diploma
• 3+ years of recent experience working as a Marine, Automotive, Electrical, or Diesel Technician

• Teaching or training experience even if in a non-technical capacity
• High energy and a charismatic and engaging speaker
• Be a team player and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Part leader, part doer, who can both visualize and execute our training and education strategy

• Exceptional ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English
  
• Be professional, responsive, resourceful, flexible, and well-organized
• Superior time management, project management, multitasking, organizational and prioritization skills

• Strong command of Microsoft Office products

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or Technical Field
• Adobe Captivate experience

• NetSuite experience
• Experience working in a leadership capacity
• Bilingual with the ability to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently

MORE DETAILS YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW

• You’ll be based in our Ft. Myers facility full-time

• This is a new position, reporting to the Applications Engineering Manager, also based in Florida
• Travel up to 20% to other Seakeeper facilities such as our training facility in Tampa

Our Training Coordinator is nestled within our Applications Engineering team and is a part of our larger Seakeeper Ride Sales & Support team, responsible for supporting new product development and growth. We all wear many hats and work together to accomplish a range of responsibilities. We’re looking for a versatile team player who wants to learn and grow within Seakeeper, finding their own niche to command ownership within the department.
