This is a superb opportunity to join the hotel team of The Marker Hotel Human Resources Department as Training & Recruitment Manager.
The Marker Hotel is a Leading Hotel of the World and it is imperative that the candidate must have the ability to deliver a high level of service in a confident and professional manner.
The Marker Hotel will become Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel in 2022, offering all the experiential luxury Anantara Hotels & Resorts is renowned for. Until then, we will continue to offer exceptional city-centre stays under The Marker Hotel name.
- Assist with the transition of systems, procedures, Brand standards etc when the hotel changes to the new Brand standards.
- Ensure that SOP's are updated when required with LQA and brand standards.
- Ensure that LQA training and refresher training is completed throughout all departments and LQA standards are achieved in all outlets.
- To ensure all Team members attend mandatory Orientation, Manual Handling and Fire, Health & Safety Training in a timely manner
- Review and update internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices.
- To create and implement, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual checklists for the property and departments.
- Manual Handling- complete the Manual Handling instructors programme and carry out training as required.
- To ensure all members of the management team have a full understanding of the hotel's Fire panel, sprinkler and Fire Evacuation procedures.
- To deliver the Fire, Health & Safety Training.
- Recruitment - work with HOD's and GM to ensure that they have the correct manning levels in line with NH guidelines and the business needs
- Schedule and attend interviews with suitable candidates
- To ensure all Team members are issued with SOP/LQA standards and the Train the Trainer programme is implemented and adhered to.
