Job Description

• The group provides assistance to the "in-language customer experience" team. Translation services are offered on behalf of WF and include all languages and content categories. This is a 20-person squad. Standard operational practises are being improved. A Chinese linguist is required here. Translate, evaluate, and upload material; double-check language correctness; serve as the primary point of contact for customer feedback; engage with legal and compliance; internal linguists; answer questions; and support ad hoc content.

Top Skills:

• Someone who can speak, read and write Chinese and proficient in all 3
• Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in Chinese (Traditional and Simplified)/English
• Would like the person to have the bachelor degree in Linguistics or Translation
• ATA certification is a desire, nice to have (American Translation Associate-Translator Certification)
• Translation Management System (TMS) is a tool that is used now and would be nice to see someone with thisexperience
• Experience with tools that are widely used in this space would be nice to have: Wordfast, Studio, SDLX, Trados, MultiTerm, etc.), Trados Studio, WorldServer, SDLX, or equivalent
• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed (this may be minimal portion of the job)
• Must take and pass required language assessment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• mandarin or chinese translation (Required)
