We're looking for an experienced Transportation Supervisor with a previous background in logistics and supply chain management. The right candidate will enjoy using their leadership skills to supervise and schedule transportation resources, utilizing their experience to manage multiple trainings at one time. We're looking for the right person to focus on our ultimate goal of consistently meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers and maintaining a safe, cost-effective transportation program.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce transportation policies.
- Schedule transportation routes to reduce costs.
- Monitor and oversee the maintenance of transportation equipment.
- Maintain records of transportation vehicles and equipment.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement new transportation measures to cut costs.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses for vehicles and drivers.
- Hire new drivers and staff.
- Train employees on safety best practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $71,551.00 - $75,002.00 per year
