Job Summary:
Transports patients and assists with direct patient care and procedures that have been ordered by a physician. Performs guest assistance duties such as escorting patients and assisting clinical staff with transferring patients from bed to transport equipment.

- High School Diploma/GED
Education - Preferred:
- High School Diploma/GED 6 months previous demonstrated experience as transporter/orderly/CNA and
- High School Diploma/GED Patient care experience
Experience - Required:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and take initiative.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
Certifications - Required:
- CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Upon Hire
- Health Services\BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
Licensure - Preferred:
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Upon Hire
Additional Qualifications:
- Must have effective communication skills/command of English language. Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of LVHN patients/customers, management, physicians, staff families and the general public.Must possess ability to prioritize and use time effectively.One (1) to three (3) months on the job training.

Schedule: Full Time 40 hours, Day Shift, 8a-4:30p; rotating weekends and holidays
