Transporter-Radiology
The Transporter for the Radiology Department is responsible for transporting patients safely and effectively by wheelchair or stretcher to other departments
Essential Job Duties:
Greets and escorts patient to imaging department rooms with appropriate dress and valuables secured in a safe place. The Transporter must observe and monitor the patient for comfort, safety, mental and physical status while transporting patients. Transporters are responsible for a safe environment for patients, personnel and visitors. Performs functions as directed to assist and support the hospital staff as they focus on the exam of the patients, assisting nursing staff with lifting and repositioning patients when appropriate.
