Traveling Retrofit Technician – Newark, NJLooking to hire ASAP!
About the Company:
A leading manufacturer of all electric transit vehicles, this company is known as an industry leader in the dynamic transportation industry!
Assignment Details:
Looking for traveling Technicians to complete a long term, coast-to-coast transit coach retrofit!
This is a temporary assignment and includes major traveling to various locations across the US.
Technical team needed to retrofit main distribution panels on transit coaches.
Specific Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance experience with any of the following: buses, trains, automobiles, military vehicles, heavy equipment, or aircraft.
Physical Demands:
- Required to lift, move, and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day
- Good hand/eye coordination & ability to identify color variations and close/distance visual items
- Should be able to work in extreme heat and cold conditions if needed
Work Schedule: Various work hours and some OT required.
Interviews will be conducted via Zoom.
Pay is commensurate with skills and experience!
