Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 11:00AM - 9:30PM / 40 hours scheduled / 30 hours guaranteed / Facility is allowed to cancel 1 shift per week / Must be willing to float to units where experienced / Weekend and Call schedule to be determined

Must be able to work at two campuses with one being the primary.

REQUIREMENTS

• No candidates with an AZ home address on their drivers license will be considered
• Minimum 24 months of current OR experience - REQUIRED
• Certifications must be American Heart Association OR American Red Cross and active upon submission
• No Nursys Hits - REQUIRED
• No time off; time off can be listed as preferred, but will not necessarily be honored
• COVID and FLU vaccination required
• Travel experience - Preferred
• Must be willing to float to units where experienced

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)

The facility has been providing excellent patient care with compassion, integrity and respect to the northwest area of metropolitan Phoenix since 1970. The Heart Center has been nationally recognized for its care and expertise in cardiovascular preventive care, diagnostic services, medical and surgical treatment and rehabilitation. Our clinical neurosciences program specializes in comprehensive diagnostics, therapeutic interventions and neurosurgical treatment services for patients. The facility is a Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center. We are one of three facilities in the Valley to offer deep brain stimulation, a surgical option for some patients with Parkinson’s disease or essential tremor.

The orthopedic services combine the talents of leading orthopedic physicians. We treat a range of orthopedic injuries and disorders. The facility was named one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals by Truven Health Analytics, a leading national health care research and quality assessment organization.
