Job description

We are seeking a Treasury Clerk that will assist the Financial Analyst with treasury activities of the Bank to include the initiation of payments and daily cash reconciliation to the general ledger system.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Validate the required documentation for the initiation of payment (invoice, amounts, currency, procurement request, and settlement instruction)
• Initiate the payment process in third-party banking online systems via wire, ACH, or check, and processes positive pay/safe transmission through the corresponding bank for checks
• Repot and verify the daily treasury operations and end-of-day reconciliation cash balances & investments accounts to the general ledger system
• Monitor investment security trade settlement in custody accounts of the Bank's internal portfolio.
• Assist Financial Analyst with updates and requirements in maintaining daily operation of different cash systems and subsystems
• Deposit checks received and posts to the general ledger system
• Maintain and reconcile petty cash fund
• Assist with treasury and finance projects as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• High School diploma required
• 3 year minimum related experience
• BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with banking system a plus

Work Schedule and Compensation:

• Monday thru Friday 9am-6pm
• Pay rate is depending on experience
• This is a temporary contract role for about 4 months
• Location of job will be in the 78205 area
