MECHANIC TRACTOR / TRAILER

First Fleet is a national carrier with 3000 trucks. We are seeking an experienced tractor-trailer technician for our Cedar Rapids, IA repair shop.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• work under minimal supervision and have excellent communication skills.
• you will be Maintaining and repairing FirstFleet tractors & trailers at the company terminal

REQUIREMENTS

· Must be self-motivated/self-starter

· Class 8 equipment repair experience preferred

· Able to perform periodic maintenance & Federal DOT inspections

· Must have general hand tools

· CDL-A license is preferred but not required

· Diagnostic experience preferred, with knowledge of Cummins Insite, Service Ranger and Bendix software.

· Additional knowledge of ESA, and Diamond logic preferred

Pay based on experience

Pre-employment drug screen required
