CDL Class A OTR Truck Dispatcher/Office Assistant

Ross Badger Transport and Logistics is seeking a dependable and efficient CDL Class A OTR truck dispatcher and office assistant to join our team. The right candidate will be able to supervise and communicate dispatch assignments to drivers in a timely manner to ensure productivity, assign orders to drivers to meet customer requirements, effectively communicate with customers and drivers to resolve logistics and service issues. About the Role:

· Provide excellent customer service

· Develop and maintain relationships with customers and drivers

· Negotiate shipping details and service with customers and carriers

· Execution of pickup and delivery for every customer shipment

· Data entry and maintenance of files and records

· Supervise a group of drivers

· Prepares daily work and run schedules for drivers

· Various administrative duties

· Ability to handle fast-paced work environment with a “can do” attitude

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

· Strength in multi-tasking and problem-solving

· Superior customer service skills

· Highly organized with exceptional time management capabilities

· Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation

· Great supervision and communication skills

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Maps, and Quick Books

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Rochester, MN 55904: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
