We are looking for a fully experienced Diesel truck and construction equipment specialist that has years of experience dealing with all makes and models. You would need to be highly proficient with obtaining information from the Internet as well as manufacturers of the trucks and equipment we repair.
This position Is a lead position for a highly experienced diagnostic person that can work with other mechanics to diagnose a particular problem and direct other mechanics on what parts need to be changed. You would be responsible for delegating work based on the experience of The individual mechanic. Your responsibility would be the traffic going through the shop making sure that the daily billable work hours of each mechanic are monitored for efficiency and profitability. We perform repairs on trucks, excavating equipment and equipment trailers.

Job Details:
- We are a licensed New York State repair shop with heavy equipment and diesel inspection endorsements.
- Your strong point must be computer diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
- You will need to Have the ability to do some hands-on work in order to get respect from the other mechanics if the project requires it.
- The position will require you to have your own set of tools.
- This is a full-time year-round position with no layoffs and overtime is available.
