Pay - $40,000 per year

Job Description


Responsible for supervising staff, meeting, and exceeding sales/profit goals, overseeing marketing campaigns, repairing devices, and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Meets or exceeds monthly sales/profit goals.
  • Fulfills operational requirements by effectively managing employee hours, workflow and reviewing work results.
  • Maintains talented staff by properly training and consistently coaching employees.
  • Achieves financial objectives by controlling expenditures; analyzing variances and metrics and initiating corrective actions.
  • Preserves success by coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies/procedures.
  • Builds brand by establishing rapport with potential and existing customers.
  • Ensures availability of merchandise and services by maintaining and ordering inventory
  • Leads team effort by accomplishing required tasks as needed.
  • Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Provide recommendations for problem resolution and proper repair estimates.
  • Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple-to-understand manner.
  • Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix by Asurion quality standards.
  • Answer phone calls with a professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor
  • Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock
  • Utilize the point-of-sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and the real-time status of each repair
  • Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store.

Required Qualifications: We are looking for someone who has both technical repair and managerial experience.

  • Passion for technology
  • Experience with device repair (Computer, laptop, tablet, phones, hardware, and/or software), and replacement of phone screen LCD are required.
  • Quick and independent learner
  • Proven experience in managing preferably a retail store.
  • Success in achieving and surpassing sales goals.
  • Experience hiring, training, and developing new employees.
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Must be willing to work at multiple locations during training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of supervisory/management experience
  • Previous experience working at a retail electronics store.
  • A+ certification
  • Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)
  • Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics
