Midtown Parking Deck Job description

Patrol the property / parking decks each shift – duration 45-50 minutes

• Vehicle Patrol of Deck floors 1 to 9; then back down to P1 to Physician Parking, then up to P2 Physician parking, then exit left to Berkeley Ave.
• Drive perimeter of property (POA) – Left on Berkeley Ave, right on Harding Pl (around future Solis development, left on Berkeley, right on to Pearl Park Way, right onto Kenilworth Dr, right onto Harding, right onto Berkeley and into parking deck.
• Park vehicle for visibility at Kenilworth deck entrance.
• Foot Patrol – utilizes Lighthouse system to track foot patrol.
  • take elevator to Level 9 and walk down stairwell repeat 3 times (Stairs A, B, C). Stairwells patrolled 2 to 3 times per shift.

Evening Door Patrol - Check doors of Kenilworth Medical Plaza I & II left propped open after hours at 6:30pm and at 9pm daily. Keep a log of any issues.

Officer Tracking Software: Starting January 2023

• Guard Tour - Proof of presence technology and GPS tracking enables security officers to confirm their patrol activity in real-time.
• Incident Notification - Security risks and incidents are reported in real-time.
• Facility and Safety Inspection - Officers given specific instructions to carry out additional security checks to ensure safety checks.
• Time and Attendance - Automated officer check-in/check-out.
• Daily Activity Reports - Complies all officer activities including inspection, guard tours and incidents.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Ensure appropriate notifications are made & Notify Landlord of Incident – Immediately

If anyone is hurt or there is any type of property damage, please take photos and write an incident report.

7 days per week and holidays

• Roving security will drive through parking decks of Canopy and Solis Midtown 5-6 times per night
• Guard will get out of the vehicle look up and down stairwells at Canopy and Solis Midtown
• Guard will scan checkpoints at each property using Lighthouse mobile software
• Guard will travel POA perimeter in vehicle each time he/she drives the decks

Job Summary

Qualifications/Requirements

• NC Guard License
• Minimum 1 year of relevant security experience
  
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Naturalized Citizen, or Permanent Resident

Schedule :

Part Time

Weekends 7am - 7pm
Weekends 7pm - 7am
Friday night 11pm - 7am
