Clore Equipment, LLC is seeking an Underground Utility Laborer in the Harlingen, TX area to perform a wide variety of manual duties in support of underground construction. Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities is required.

Job Duties

• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact earth to grade specifications, using shovels and other equipment.
• Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools; distribute to appropriate locations, according to project plans.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate movement of equipment.
• Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement.
• May operate light equipment, air compressors, pneumatic air tools, and other equipment as necessary.
• Operate motor vehicles during travel to/from jobsites.

Requirements /Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of underground utilities (i.e. Storm, Sewer, and Water) experience required.
• Requires limited knowledge of techniques, tools and equipment.
• Must have understanding of the hazards and precautions of the trade.
• Positive attitude, hard work ethic, and a priority for safety.Physical demands:
• Climb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objects.
• Lift, dig and concentrate on a specific task.
• Push, pull, reach, and frequently carry objects such as tools, materials and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Coordinate movement of eyes, hands, fingers, and feet.
• Work at different heights.
• All work is outdoors, subject to inclement weather conditions.

Compensation: Pay is weekly and based on experience.

Pay: From $11.50 per hour
