Your Mission

Prokeep is looking for a User Experience Manager who is customer focused and can provide subject matter expertise to continue development of new features and product updates. Prokeep’s customers appreciate our product for its simplicity. While there are many general purpose service tools available on the market, only Prokeep is dedicated to the unique challenges of wholesale distributors. You will work directly with and have the support of our founders and VP, Product to lead the design team in creating innovative design solutions to improve our existing product. Your key responsibilities will include

  • Provide leadership to designers to lead design work throughout the product development lifecycle while building and strengthening a world class design team that is passionate about users and transforming the way they work.

  • Work cross functionally with the Engineering, and Product teams to support product planning and implementation

  • Managing significant and complex design projects from start to finish

  • Translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences

  • Act as a user advocate by identifying our users needs and improve existing features and experiences

  • Leverage analytics tools to measure success, present opportunities, and support decision-making

  • Lead designers through design reviews and proactively providing feedback and answering questions

  • Working with Technology & Software during the development process, focusing on design consistency ensuring the integrity of the features and functionality as set forth in the prototype

  • Define and evolve the UX team's process

  • Oversee style guidelines and consistency of visual design across UI, promotional materials and collateral

  • Assist in the creation of strategic materials and demos to internal and external teams

  • Lead internal reviews for feature and UI design, art direction and other UX/UI responsibilities

  • Establish and oversee a framework for incubation work in conjunction with our innovation team to conceptualize, storyboard and produce design artifacts including wireframes, hi-fi designs, style guides and pattern libraries

  • Present concepts and ideas to senior leaders throughout the company

  • Design a roadmap for multi-channel experiences for developers, consumers and internal users

  • Create annotated wireframes or prototypes, conceptual models, user flow diagrams

  • Lead a team of UX designers to enable the delivery of a world-class user interface, contributing leadership and outstanding individual work to the effort


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in UX at a high growth SaaS company; 4+ years of management experience

  • Skilled at mentoring and growing teams, with a focus on participatory leadership and user-centric design

  • Proven understanding of full end-to-end, user-centered design processes, techniques, and deliverables

  • Experience with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma)

  • Several years of experience leading and designing interactive applications

  • Ability to work with various teams across multiple time zones

  • Superb writing, communication, and critical thinking skills

  • Passionate about product discovery

  • Familiarity with web and mobile interaction patterns and best practices

  • Thrives in working through ambiguity - adaptable and flexible


Working Relationship & Compensation

This is a full-time salaried position and is located remote (must be located in EST or CST time zones). Strong preference for New Orleans, LA / Atlanta, GA / Austin, TX candidates.
