About the role…
As the Manager of UX, you will lead a team of new and experienced product designers who together are responsible for delivering a best in breed User Experience for a wide range of products and solutions in a fast growing Product team. The successful candidate will utilize their impressive experience to keep Bullhorn at the forefront of modern usability design on all platforms.
A typical day will include...
- Creating meaningful, easy to use, and engaging solutions by pulling from a deep understanding of business and user needs as well as technological constraints
- Coaching, mentoring, and managing day to day work of a team of talented UX designers, ensuring the team is following established processes and best practices for execution and delivery against roadmap commitments.
- Overseeing the development of user experience through research and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and execution of the original intent and business strategy
- Helping manage and develop career paths and organizational structure for the UX team.
- Establishing and documenting processes, tools and methodology for UX research & design. Monitoring and analyzing efficacy of current practices and making recommendations for improvements, better use of data and additional efficiencies
- Collaborating with leaders of other departments on the user experience of new products and features
- Facilitating collaborative workshops to answer critical business questions through design thinking, rapid prototyping, and testing ideas with customers
- Providing input on user research methods, design execution, and design operations management.
This role is a fit for you if…
- Have 4+ years of relevant work experience, specifically designing & styling web-based and mobile applications (iOS & Android) in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Have strong design and prototyping skills in Figma.
- Have detailed knowledge of user-centered design principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to grasp multiple product requirements.
- Are comfortable expressing and recommending trade-offs on design decisions.
- Have a solid understanding of Design Systems, Atomic Design, Design Tokens, and/or Component Design.
Bonus Points…
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Interactive Design, Human-Computer Interaction or
- related field
- Experience building and maintaining a Design System
- Agile/Scrum experience and previous work in a cross-functional environment
- Experience working at a B2B / B2C SaaS company
