Kauai Veterinary Clinic is a small, community-focused, AAHA accredited, dog and cat practice located in Lihue and we are looking to add a full-time veterinary receptionist (CSR) to our team!

Compensation is based on experience and starts at $19/hour

Examples of duties for our veterinary receptionists include:

• Greeting and welcoming patients with sincerity.
• Answering telephone calls and returning e-mails.
• Scheduling appointments using Cornerstone.
• Issuing invoices for treatment and prescribed medication after each consultation.
• Receiving and verifying payments after each consultation.
• Maintaining client and patient records.
• Client Education
• Ensure the office remains presentable at all time.

Essential veterinary customer service representative skills include the ability to multi-task, computer proficiency, excellent communication skills, an understanding of basic veterinary terminology, and the ability to organize. Previous veterinary customer service experience is preferred. Experience with Cornerstone is a plus!
