Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC, established in 2009, is a growing, behavioral healthcare treatment platform treating adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions under the Northpoint Recovery brand and adolescents with mental healthcare conditions under the Imagine by Northpoint brand. The Company serves patients with commercial health insurance and is an in-network model. Northpoint has grown from two facilities to 14 today entirely on a de novo basis with plans to expand rapidly in both existing and new markets. Northpoint has an opening for Vice President, Washington Market_ in our *_Washington *state market.
POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Northpoint team, the VP, Washington Market will partner with the Executive team and Board of Directors to set strategic priorities for Northpoint. This person has oversight for the administration and efficient operation of current and future Northpoint facilities in the Washington footprint. This person will implement policies, delegate assignments, manage training endeavors and directly and indirectly supervise the efforts of all staff members to ensure competence, and effective use of resources. The VP, Washington Market plays a critical role in the recruitment and leadership development of administrative, clinical, and medical staff, as well as managing complex projects and strategies that span multiple departments and geographic settings. This critical leadership position will ensure sound business practices and will collaborate with other internal leaders to review and recommend changes in clinical programming, healthcare policy, health insurance and other industry fluctuations. This position will have responsibility to achieve not only measurable operational results, but also strong financial goals.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Direct, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of patient care by staff through direct and indirect supervision, evaluations, and audits
- Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence
- Partner with the leadership team to ensure that plans, operations, and patient care are aligned with the Mission, Vision and Core Values
- Ensure broader organizational support and understanding around identified goals, strategies, budgets, and metrics associated with the organizational strategy
- Attract, develop, coach, and retain high performance team members, empowering them to elevate their level of responsibility, span of control, and performance
- Provide leadership in development of inter-team communication and cohesiveness and support staff through organizational growth
- Responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of professionals
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of programs through outcomes; leverage for max organizational impact
- In conjunction with the Executive team coach staff on resource utilization, staffing patterns, creating efficiencies, and maximizing employee retention efforts
- Seek to understand the needs and challenges of the patient/client community and enhance the patient-centric culture at Northpoint
- Develop departmental budgets, policies, and procedures to support the function’s infrastructure
- Experience vetting and guiding the implementation of new programs, projects, and contracts
- Expert at setting and achieving strategic goals, set and measure KPIs and metrics
- Willingness to dive deep into the details if necessary
- Work closely with physicians, mid-level providers, and medical director
- Stay current on Joint Commission and state regulations (via consultant, TJC manual, communication with TJC account representative, and state rules/regulations) and other increasingly complex regulatory changes in the market environment
- Other clinically appropriate services as determined by the Company
- Responsible for clinical competency and ongoing trainings at multiple sites
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:
- BA or BS Degree required, MBA or Masters in Social Services strongly preferred
- Must hold an active LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ of progressively responsible experience in clinical setting
- Minimum of three (3) years management experience in directing the operational activities of the team
- Developed leadership skills in managing leaders and staff; organizationally savvy
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain internal and external relationships in an ambiguous and fast paced environment while maintaining focus on execution and results
- Must have knowledge of Northpoint’s mission and a willingness to embrace and actively support the unique culture and core values of Northpoint, and our work
- Requires significant health care management and operational experience with a focus on ensuring high quality and safe patient care
- Action oriented with the ability to: adapt to change, work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive to finish

- Excellent writing skills as well as superb interpersonal and verbal communication skills; a master at presenting information, ideas, and results is critical
- Demonstrated ability to influence executives, senior leaders and partners and work comfortably across organizational boundaries and geographies

- Strong business acumen along with excellent communication skills both written and verbal

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct manager for leaders and staff
- Responsible for evaluating the performance of personnel
- Indirect oversight of outsourced medical professionals and their effectiveness

- Environment consists of a 44-bed inpatient, residential treatment facility in Edmonds, WA and 3 outpatient facilities in Seattle, Bellevue, and Spokane, WA
- Exposure to disturbed and potentially aggressive patients will be frequent. Stress ranges from low to intense, depending on the situation
- Frequent travel is required
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Completion of a tuberculin screening during first week of hire
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screening, post-accident, and upon reasonable suspicion of use
- Completion of orientation and all required paperwork prior to reporting to work, including acknowledgement of all Company policies
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Completion of CPR/First Aid training within 90 days of employment
- Attendance at all mandatory staff development and training
- Completion of background checks and professional reference checks
- Completion of a Motor Vehicle Record check

- $150,000 - $200,000
