The Video and Photography Production Assistant assists the Marketing Department’s multimedia team in capturing, organizing, and editing video/photo content of Aquascape water features, installation processes, and products for various social media platforms.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as front-to-back channel manager (capturing, editing, airing, optimizing) for our creator’s robust YouTube channel
- Assist in establishing content direction of future vlogs
- View, sort, assign, export vlog content to outside editors and review vlogs created by outside editors, provide feedback, maximize monetization
- Effectively develop and iterate titles and thumbnails utilizing Adobe Photoshop
- Proactively optimize channel on a continuous basis with metrics-based decision-making
- Import and catalogue video and photography content within the multimedia digital library
- Assist the Multimedia team in filming, editing, and producing social media content, consumer product videos and photography and Company events/activities
- Work closely and collaboratively with Multimedia team to film, edit and produce content
- Bring forth creative ideas/initiatives to the Multimedia team for consideration/enactment
- Complete other projects and duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a videographer or similar education experience
- Knowledge of Final Cut Studio software for general editing, voiceover, logging and transferring HD video, and exporting with Compressor
- Ability to craft compelling stories that align company objectives
- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom including editing RAW photography, manipulating photos, GIF animations
- Familiarity with all MAC operating systems and MAC products including towers, laptops, iPads, iPhones and iPods
- Proven ability to work with various audio equipment such as wireless microphones and sound booth recording
- General knowledge of YouTube for channel management, video content creation and thumbnailing
- General knowledge of Facebook/Instagram to create, optimize and maintain channels/pages
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust shifting priorities as they change
- Availability to travel as needed for production schedule, up to 25% travel
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects to create basic motion graphics for video content preferred
