How will you impact our mission? Every position at Idaho Youth Ranch contributes to the success of our mission. As a Volunteer Services Manager, you will help grow our volunteer program through playing a leading role in recruitment, training and program planning of all volunteer activities. You will build relationships with IYR teams and the community to ensure the continued forward movement of our mission.

Must haves:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent with major coursework in public relations, business administration, social welfare, marketing/communications or related field(s) or equivalent experience.
• Three years of responsible experience in developing and/or coordinating volunteer or similar programs
• Exceptional public speaking, public relations and presentation skills
• Display a positive attitude with a proactive and collaborative approach to diverse work and business units.
• Exercise diplomacy, tact and respect with diverse populations

Preferred:

• Five years of responsible experience in developing and/or coordinating volunteer or similar programs.

Our Volunteer Services Manager will:

• Develop and maintain a coordinated agency-wide volunteer recruiting program, including marketing materials, outreach coordination with other partners and agencies, and web based information.
• Provides outreach to neighborhood associations, private, nonprofit, educational and business partners.
• Maintains AmeriCorps VISTA program
• Maintains web-based volunteer database.

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
