Since 1996, we have a proven record of providing superior supports and services to the developmentally disabled and are looking to build upon our success and reputation within Sarasota County. We are looking for candidates to join our tight knit team of support coordinators.

This position requires strong advocacy skills, the ability to be level-headed in an ever-changing environment as well as having a comprehensive understanding of the unique abilities and needs of the individuals we serve and the resources available to them. Person centered outcomes are our priority. This is not a revolving caseload, and the expectation is to facilitate a dedicated support circle to the individuals served. Beginning part time and transitioning to full time dependent upon skill acquisition.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of paid experience in a helping profession. Master’s degree substitutes for one year of experience. Sense of humor is a plus. The ability to work well with others is essential as is being a self-starter and organized. You must be able to write clearly and comprehensively. Basic computer skills are necessary - ongoing training will be provided. You must pass a level 2 Background screening.
