Wall and Floor Tilers (Permanent and Self-employed)

Established and successful tiling company specialising in providing high-quality residential and commercial tiling services across Leinster now seeks additional tilers on a full time, permanent basis but also interest in tilers who would like to work on a self-employed basis.

Key Requirements

• Inspecting surfaces to be tiled
• Working out how many tiles and adhesive required for a particular area(s)
• Surface preparation work (i.e. removing old grout and cement and cleaning and levelling surfaces)
• Laying tiles in accordance with tiling plan, cutting tiles where necessary using hand-cutters or bench-mounted tools
• Grouting gaps between tiles
• Carrying out finishing work, where necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• Mathematics and measurement skills
• Ability to use tile cutters and other tools of the trade
• Ability to follow specific tiling patterns
• Accuracy, thorough with strong attention to detail
• Strength and stamina
• Strong manual skills
• Eye for design
• Excellent client facing and customer service skills
• Ability to work without supervision
• Safe Pass

Job Type: Full-time and open to self-employed subcontractors.

Salary: Full time - Top salary paid based on skills and experience in line with CIF rates. Self employed subcontractors will be reimbursed based on agreed priced work per job.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Wexford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Salary: €28,000.00-€37,000.00 per year
