I am looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Assistantfor a leading distribution company located in Dublin 11. This permanent role will interview immediately and are looking for someone with minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment operating a Counterbalance forklift.

The successful candidate for Warehouse Assistant role will be an experienced and confident forklift operator with licenses/certificates to coincide and has strong knowledge of picking products of high-volume orders with strong attention to detail.

Monday to Friday 9am till 5.15pm

Responsibilities:

Ensure the unloading and loading vehicles via forklift

Receiving goods inwards and coordinating them against purchase order.

Quality Control inspection on all deliveries for any noticeable defects, or other possible queries

Assist with system updates and the putting away of all received goods,

Responsible for picking products correctly and efficiently

Checking the location of items and stock levels using the stock control system.

Ensuring orders are labelled correctly with the correct references and the relevant customers are notified of the completion

Responsible for packing and dispatching product orders correctly and efficiently and labelling for shipping.

Responsible for always keeping warehouse clean and tidy.

Responsible for adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures

Responsible for ensuring all the waste of electrical & electronic equipment are generated on site and quantities are uploaded to the portal each month.

Be available to work overtime when requested.

Completing monthly cycle counts and yearly stock count.

Ensuring all documentation is completed and following good documentation practices

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment operating a forklift

Valid Counterbalance forklift licence is required

Valid Manual Handling certificate

Knowledge of MRP systems is an advantage

Strong communication both verbally and written

Strong attention to detail is an essential part tot his role

Good knowledge of computers

Candidate will be required to pass all Garda security checks.
