Job Purpose:

A Warehouse Associate works in the shipping and receiving branch of a company, tracking inventory, storing products, and overseeing deliveries and shipments. In addition to organizational skills and attention to detail, the warehouse associate job description requires physical strength, as well as the ability to operate heavy machinery.

As a Warehouse Associate at Western Integrated Technologies you will need:

• Must have Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Shipping & Receiving experience
• Understand UPS World Ship procedures
• Forklift experience desirable
• Wood Saw experience
• Basic mathematical skills
• Experience in Quality Control
• Pays close attention to detail, a skill essential in identifying order discrepancies & product deficiencies
• Problem Solving skills required
• Exhibits effective communication skills
• Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently
• Able to work independently or in a team environment

We are looking for someone with experience in the following areas:

• Ship and receive from various companies (primarily UPS <L)
• Pulling of sales & production orders
• Customer interface (Will Calls)
• 50% of the time will be spent in Hose assembly (training provided)
• Pick-up/Deliver material & parts as required
• Organizes and restocks products in the warehouse
• Keeps warehouse clean and organized
• Updates supervisor on the status of inventory, shipments, and deliveries.
• Operates forklift and other machinery needed to transport heavy items around the warehouse.
