Warehouse Inventory Clerk & Material Delivery Driver
DEPARTMENT: Cornhusker Tile
REPORTS TO: John Morehouse

GRADE: Full-time / Hourly

HOURS: 730am-430p M-F

Summary:

This position is responsible for incoming and outgoing deliveries. Incoming delivery responsibilities range from verifying quantity count and material type, labeling the material correctly based on type and project, verifying inventory balance before and after jobsite delivery, as well as tracking equipment and items taken to jobsites and returned from jobsites. Outgoing delivery duties include but, not limited to loading and unload material to job sites and back to warehouse, transporting material to jobsites and back to warehouse, load, and place material in buildings for tile installers. Safety uniform is required at all times.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Keep accurate inventory of materials and goods in warehouse
• Accurately label and keep up with new material labeling
• Keep track of materials delivered to job sites and items returned to the warehouse
• Verify inventory of jobsite materials after job completion
• Maintain and update material logs per jobsite and overall manifest
• Able to handle heavy material, loading into truck bed and removing from truck bed
• Able to drive company vehicle and insurable (company auto insurance)
• Must following company and jobsite contractor safety requirements
• Must be in uniform at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Accurately able to read a tape measure, detail minded, and good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and ask questions
• Reliable work ethic and dependable work attendance
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
• Detail minded and able to problem solve
• Able to work efficient and effectively while working independently
• Computer skills required – Excel and Microsoft Word
• Must have a valid driver’s license and being insurable

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Physical work - knelling, crawling, squatting, and standing
• Lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying up to 70 lbs individually
• Primarily exposed to outdoor elements and warehouse
• Driving company truck

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

• Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
