Pepsi MidAmerica (PMA), located in Marion, Illinois, has proudly distributed quality beverages in Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee since 1936. The company has grown into one of the largest family-owned Pepsi bottlers in the United States. We are currently looking for Shipping Foreman to add to the Shipping team!

Job Duties:

• Supervise the stripping and loading activities of all Route Trucks, side loaders, vans and compare load sheets with finished load to assure correct product shipment and correct loading for proper axle weight distribution.
• Perform daily physical inventory of floor, route trailers, vans and side loaders to assist Production Manager in scheduling production runs and providing maximum inventory control.
• Responsible for preparing Daily Truck Loading report forms to provide important information concerning operating efficiencies.
• Responsible for the proper training, motivation and evaluation of staff.
• Responsible for the proper rotation of all floor stock, by assuring all outgoing product is obtained from correct stock location.
• Responsible for writing work orders for any necessary repairs on forklifts, floor scrubber, dock plates, overhead doors, lights, etc. to enhance department operations.
• Ensure that returning product is properly sorted. Out-of-date and unusable damaged product is kept separate from re-worked usable product.
• Ensure all returned pallets and shells are properly sorted by company

Qualification

• Valid Drivers License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Good work ethic
• Live in or around Marion IL
