Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager verifies all incoming and outgoing merchandise. Employee will need to use the computer system (DROSTE) to be able to fulfill orders. Will be responsible for verifying item and quantity and, as needed, will also verify weight and condition of product. Will also fill orders to be distributed to all stores within the PPRM (Hawaii) group of stores.

Operates forklift to unload and load merchandise. Is responsible for the general housekeeping of the entire area, including the dock, ramp and warehouse areas. May be assigned other related duties.

BACKGROUND: Previous experience working with merchandise invoices and handling merchandise is helpful.

Certified or able to be certified to operate Forklift trucks is required

PERSONAL

REQUIREMENTS: Neat and organized in work

Should be detail oriented and good with numbers

Should be able to read and write English

Should be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

PHYSICAL

REQUIREMENTS: Able to lift 50 lbs with medium effort

Able to push/pull 200 lbs using pallet jacks or carts

Able to stand / move about during two (2) to three (3) hours durations

Able to do frequent amount of bending, stooping, squatting, climbing and reaching above shoulders

SCHEDULE: Able to work a schedule between the Operating Hours of the Warehouse.
