Summary

The Warehouse Manager directs and coordinates the daily activities of the warehouse operation, inclusive of leading and management of the warehouse and inventory control for 24/7 operation. This role is responsible for ensuring both food safety and quality of Chobani product.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that orders are received and distributed in a timely manner to maximize customer service and establish procedures to ensure an adequate level of supplies
  • Exercise the usual authority of a manager in relation to hiring, training, performance appraisals, promotions, career development and terminations
  • Coordinate and forecast the scheduling of warehouse employees to ensure proper staffing in order to receive and distribute products/materials at the facility in a productive and cost-efficient manner
  • Oversee preparation of warehouse productivity reports
  • Analyze inventory variances and research accordingly
  • Analyze current warehouse capacity and identify needs and ways of working for future state
  • Provide weekly KPI scorecard capturing trends and business state
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the facility, equipment and supplies
  • Recommend equipment requirements and replacements in order to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency
  • Develop warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees, within the regulations of all OSHA, local and state laws
  • Follow Chobani safety procedures
  • Develop, implement, and maintain purchasing system for warehouse operations
  • Maintain and administer a proper stock location’s system
  • Ensure that incoming and outgoing orders are verified against appropriate documents
  • Establish budgets as required and adhere to budget requirements
  • Assure employees are trained on safety, power equipment, certifications and correct processes to perform their jobs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Follow Chobani’s safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Economics in preferred
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in a production environment with a strong technical and analytic background
  • Experienced Leadership in the area of process change/improvement. A strong solution finder
  • Lean Manufacturing in Warehousing and Layout Optimization
  • Strong computer skills to manage warehouse management
  • Serve as back up in the absence of warehouse supervisor

Compensation Range: $84,800.00 - $127,200.00, plus bonus.
