Warehouse & Logistics Manager - Cork
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager with high energy levels and strong communication skills to join a fast growing industry leading company based near Cork City.
The successful candidate will be joining a company who are predicting to double their turnover over the next 3 years and they view this position as key to the contiuned and future success of the business.
Person Profile:
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter. You are a dependable, performance driven, decision maker with the capability to analyse problems, swiftly develop solutions and then to implement appropriate actions. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the role, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build, manage and maintain relationships at all levels. Using your management skills and experience, you will lead the warehouse team. You will create a high-performance culture based on the pillars of customer focus, quality and continuous improvement through the motivation and engagement of the team. You take responsibility for the performance of the team, consistently meeting and exceeding targets.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain day to day operations and internal systems while meeting operational requirements and act as link between Management and Warehouse Team
- People Management & Development responsibility for Warehouse, Service and Administration Staff across multi shifts and locations
- Ensure all quality control and safety procedures are updated and adhered too
- Ownership of all compliance-related standards in the warehouse
- Highly analytical & comfortable with technology such as using internal data reporting tools to drill down into the data to see what is going on.
- Champion a positive Health & Safety culture
- Develop Excellent relationships with our clients external and internal customers
- Ability to delegate in line with setting the expectation, assigning responsibility & ensuring responsibility is taken by your team.
- Is collaborative & yet confident to constructively challenge for the right result with an ability to influence peers & senior managers
