We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to Maintain the proper functioning of the warehouse through the arrival of products and inventory distribution. Coordinate staff and warehouse resources to help control inventory, including transfers, arrivals, and delivered merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Maintain communication between shifts and other areas of the company.
- Knowledge of and upkeeping with OSHA, FDA, and Security Regulations.
- Supervise the maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Schedule and conduct a physical inventory.
- Recruitment, Training, and Personnel Management.
- Monitor and up keeping of returns.
- Organize warehouse shifts and staff hours.
- Reviews, Analysis, and Continuous Development of Operational Policies and Procedures.
- Inventory Control, transfers, rotation, reception, and placement of goods.
- Oversee shipping of merchandise.
- Coordinate activities and maintain continuous communication with other departments for proper area operation.
- Development and Implementation of Projects.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
Inventory & Warehouse Manager skills
- At least 2 years of personnel management.
- Warehouse/Inventory Control experience is necessary.
- Planning, organizing, professional written and oral communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Available to work different shifts as necessary and occasionally to frequent overtime.
- Available to work in fast-paced environments with industrial machinery and cold storage work environment.
Other abilities you will need to have:
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to withstand cold storage temperature for extended periods.
- Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Experience in the usage of forklift, manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack. 2 wheeler dolly.
