Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Dublin South
Working Hours/Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri – 39 hours a week. Shifts will be 8 am –5 pm
Salary: €30000 (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:

Initial 6 Month fixed term Contract, leading to a full-Time permanent role for suitable candidates. OT requirement from time to time. Our client is one of Irelands leading wholesale and distribution companies for the plumbing and bathroom sector in Ireland. They are continually expanding to meet the growing needs of the Irish market. We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our growing Warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack and dispatch materials.
• Receive materials and update the inventory management system, store and allocate received materials as per company procedures ensuring stock rotation.
• Ensure that all materials are transported to their destination efficiently, safely and accurately
• Ensure that all stock handled is stored correctly, safely and accurately within the warehouse facility.
• Carry out stocktaking activities.
• General housekeeping duties of store facilities and company vehicles.
• Ensure that all duties are carried out in an efficient and safe manner. (Storage of materials, manual handling, consideration of others).
• The position may require duties to be carried out in other branches within the group premises.
• Any other duties as required.

Requirements:

• 2 years of previous experience working in a busy Warehouse environment.

Desirable Requirements:

• FLT / PPT Licences (Desirable)
• Current Manual Handling Certificate (Desirable)
• Good knowledge of IT Systems and excel/word applications
• Previous experience using/working with a WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Full B Clean Driving Licence
