Job description

The Primary responsibility of Warehouse Operators is to handle raw materials and finished goods within the Warehouse and Production. Ample training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive material from vendors
• Receive indirect material and distribute same
• Carry out cycle counts and complete relevant documentation
• Drive forklift
• Enter transactions into Operating System
• Maintain spare parts stock
• Track receipts and shipments
• Assist in the planning and implementation of breaks and holiday cover
• Ensue data integrity and accuracy is 100% at all times
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, the Galway Safety Statement and all aspects of safe working practices including, but not limited to, PPE, manual handling and chemical handling and awareness

Core Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and documentation
• The position also requires a proven ability to work under minimal supervision along with a high level of motivation
• Full forklift training will be provided
• Pleasty of opportunity to upskill
• PC Skills

Typical Experience/Education:

• Warehouse experience would be an advantage
• Second Level Qualification or equivalent
