What you'll do

• Goods In Operate 24 hours with flexible shift patterns available for morning, afternoon or over night
• Maintain the uninterrupted flow of goods in and out of our regional distribution centre
• Instructing the lorry drivers regarding use of lanes, and sorting the incoming stock
• Quality control of fresh product and counting incoming stock for inventory control
• Recording all additional relevant data (e.g. best before date, pallet height)
• Recording every pallet received for accurate storage
• Always maintain health and safety standards

What you'll need

• Comfortable with operating manual handling equipment
• A flexible can-do attitude
• Preferably, experience within a warehouse environment
• A good team player
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

What you'll receive

Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl

• €12.90 per hour rising to €14.90 per hour over 4 years
• Additional supplements paid depending on the days & hours worked
• 25% additional pay for any unsocial hours worked
• 50% supplement for any hours worked over 39 hours
• 50% supplement working on a Sunday
• 75% supplement working unsocial hours in conjunction with working over 39 hours or on a Sunday
• 100% supplement working on a bank holiday
• 20 days holidays per annum pro rata
