Job Summary:

Our company specializes in agricultural irrigation needs and services. The warehouse/parts team is one of the primary customer interfaces and plays a crucial role in developing powerful customer relationships. The companies inventory contributes greatly towards the companies profitability. Maintaining inventory, warehouse operations, and customer service are critical to the companies success.

The critical skills for success in this role include: communication skills, detail oriented, the ability to keep track of many unrelated topics, patience when working with customers, the ability to learn the various parts and willingness to go the extra mile to please customers.

• Ensure excellent experiences for walk-in or call-in customers.
• Assist customers to obtain the components they require.
• Accurately pull parts for customers or irrigation system projects.
• Accurately receive and ship inventory.
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist customers via phone and in person. Provide high-value customer service to all customers. This is accomplished by having an in-depth knowledge of the components utilized in the irrigation systems sold and serviced by Agi-lines Irrigation.
• Need to be able to help customers define what parts they require.
• Create sales orders
• Invoice customers & collect payments.
• Process credit memo returns and re-stock returned materials
• Preform material physical receiving; unloading materials from trucks
• Ensure integrity of the inventory in the warehouse by accurately maintaining data entries for all parts transactions
• Ensure materials are stored in the correct locations and remain undamaged
• Prevent unauthorized removal of the warehouse materials
• Provide office clerk with receivers and inventory adjustment paperwork at end of day
• Preform inventory cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy is being maintained
• Clean & organize warehouse. Utilize 5S principles to provide a safe and efficient work environment
• Maintain all equipment in good working condition.
• Pull materials from inventory and build kits for work orders
• Highlight any shortages on the pick-lists. Determine if missing materials are in inventory at another store. Determine if inventory is to be transferred from the other store or if additional material is to be ordered. If material is to be transferred, complete the inventory transfer transaction process.
• Preform inventory transfer transactions to support other store's requirements. Coordinate material shipments. Ensure no material is damaged during shipments.
• Assemble sprinkler packages

Job Skill Requirements:

• The ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Must be able to take detailed phone messages and keep accurate paper and electronic records.
• Microsoft office fluency including: spreadsheets, word processing and email. Also needs to be adept at data entry
• NetSuite is knowledge is a plus
• Ability to manage complex part numbers ensuring that proper materials are tracked at all times.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing more than 75% of the time
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a routine basis
• Requires frequent reaching and stretching
• Ability to walk through and maneuver around warehouse
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to climb using a ladder

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
