About Us:

LooseLeaf International is a high-growth, tobacco company located in the US, Dominican Republic, and Ecuador with a focus in the distribution of cigars and tobacco leaf products. LooseLeaf International is seeking a Shipping and Transport Specialist I to support the team. As a Shipping and Transport Specialist I, you will be responsible for inventory of incoming and outgoing equipment, tracking, and documentation of shipment details.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the cleanliness of their work area during production and at each shift end. Floors need to be swept, all trash should be picked up and empty boxes need to be properly disposed of. Must wear the proper personal protective equipment, (if required), while working in the shipping area.
• Monitor stock levels of consumable supplies and request replenishment when necessary
• Conduct physical and logical receipt of inbound materials and stow accordingly
• Put-away and stow materials in designated locations, consolidate inventory when necessary
• Respond to shipping requests by accurately pulling and moving materials through the proper process paths
• Perform shipping functions for various types of outbound shipments and maintain accurate records and
• documentation
• Wrap, label and inspect pallets, products, packaging, etc.
• Assist with locating misplaced inventory
• Provide physical inventory and related information to the configuration center
• Conduct inventory audits, perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies when identified
• Perform pre-ship inspection and quality checks of all inbound and outbound shipments
• Conduct pre-shift and end-shift area readiness checks
• Conduct frequent check-ins with Manager and Team Leads for impromptu support requests
• Be readily able to assist in all warehouse roles at anytime
• On-site attendance is required (remote working is not available)
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
• Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years or over with a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 1 year driving required, with 3 years preferred.
• Knowledge of computer systems and software, Shopify, MS Word, Excel and Outlook, with an ability to
• learn and retain new applications.
• Communication and interpersonal skills must be sufficient to develop effective relationships and
• interaction with staff and vendors.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, box cutters etc.
• Must have a customer service, friendly, and professional disposition
• Clean driving record, absolutely no DUI and a clean background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
