Job Overview My client a 40-year industry veteran in the engineering sector is looking for a warehouse operative / stock controller to join their team based in the North Cork County area. This is an exciting opportunity in one of Ireland's leading Engineering Supplies companies. They are at the forefront of an evolving trade that will offer the ideal candidate the opportunity to grow with plenty of prospects within the organisation. The job will include but is not limited to the following: Picking, packing and shipping customer orders Receipting supplier deliveries and using the ERP system (Herbst/SAP) to have stock reflect the new products Investigating back-order issues Assisting with repairs dept paperwork The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a similar setting (2-3 years' experience) and have knowledge of use of ERP systems as well as MS office and Excel. They should be self-motivated and have good attention to detail especially when it comes to picking customer orders. Previous experience working with a forklift (expired or valid licence) is essential! For your hard work and dedication, you will receive a salary between €28k - €35k (depending on experience) and your work hours would be Mon - Thurs 08:30 - 17:30 and finishing early at 16:30 on a Friday.
