Our company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. This position requires a high-level understanding of supply chain management and the ability to successfully manage a variety of individuals while ensuring productivity, accuracy and quality of all work. Responsibilities:

• Oversee outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments
• Ensuring the correct boxes match dimms from shipping system and that those dimms are used consistantly
• Training staff on proper shipping techniques and safety procedures
• Monitoring shipping costs to ensure that they are within budget guidelines
• Maintaining inventory of shipping supplies, such as boxes and labels, to ensure that items are always available for use
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shipping area organized, and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Verify that orders are complete and meet customer specifications before release Schedule and assign employees to specific tasks
• Train new employees on company policies and procedures
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
• Prepare and submit reports on daily activities and metrics
• Manage inventory of shipping supplies and place orders when necessary
• Plan the allocation of orders within the warehouse.
• Keep track of stock levels at all times.
• Manage a team of workers.
• Ensure coverage with respect to vacations, sick days, and other time off allowances
• Review the quality of work produced by workers.
• Monitor workflow.
• Manage workplace safety and security.
• Address any worker issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Familiarity with shipping software programs, FedEx Ship Manager

Education: Require at least a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
