General Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for a safe work environment, exceptional sanitation, fair and professional treatment of all employees, quality and quantity of work performed and customer relations.

Task specifics:

Specific responsibilities include: direct supervision of shipping and receiving office staff and warehouse employees, assure policy and procedures and followed, resolve customer, carrier and driver issues, accessorial charge documentation, inventory control, administer discipline, integral part of management decisions on employee issues, system problem resolution, occasional need to cover for absences/vacations of other shift supervisors, and participate in off-hours meetings and training. Responsible for managing facility audit and sanitation program, including Property Management team. Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree, preferred or High School diploma and 2+ years of experience
• Experience managing teams in a warehouse environment with multiple shifts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working within RF controlled inventory systems, with food products
• Proficient MS Office applications
• Experience operating a Forklift or powered pallet jacks is required
• Ability to read/write in English
• Previous inventory control experience
• British Retail Consortium Experience (Preferred)
