SUMMARY

The position is based at our Regional Facility, located in Cork.

Electric Skyline provides lighting solutions throughout all 32 counties and maintains in excess of 100,000 public lights across 9 Irish local authorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These include the following, others may be assigned to meet business needs:

The Warehouse Supervisor will plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the Cork Store Facilities, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively while maintaining the highest housekeeping standards.

Establish sufficient stocking levels to service the needs of the business.

Work with Quality department & Contracts Manager on new material and new supplier onboarding activities.

Assist in managing & maintaining supplier-related documentation, issues, and metrics.

Timely notification and contingency planning of any potential material shortages

Plan daily workload in line with job requirements/weekly schedule ensuring all materials are available each morning for PICW, ensure clear communications between various stakeholders across the business of any potential issues.

Assist with Maintaining Electric Skyline’s Fleet of Vehicles, & Tools and Machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Sourcing, scheduling and planning of materials to meet the needs of the business will be fundamental to this role

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully function in this position

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Third level qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or another related discipline, desirable.

2+ years’ experience in an industry-related role is essential.

Must be proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, which include but are not limited to presentation and organizational skills

Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive actions that involve procurement expertise or interaction.

Be a strong team member with the ability to identify and drive efficiency improvements.
